Originally from Northern Ireland Rita began her career as a Civil Servant in the heart of Belfast. Realising her true calling was as a performer she happily retired from Her Majesty's Service and swiftly took up her acting training in Dublin!

With over 10 years experience in Film, Television and Theatre she is now based in London, England.

Some of her favourite appearances include the stage adaptation of Tolstoy's "Anna Karenina" at the Samuel Beckett Theatre in Dublin, the one woman show "Learning to Drive" at the Dublin Fringe Festival, and more recently J B Keane's classic "The Field" at The Tricycle Theatre in London.

She holds a best actress nomination for her portrayal of "Karen Wright" in "The Children's Hour" and appeared in the Olivier Award winning production of "Bloody Sunday - scenes from The Saville Inquiry" staged at the Tricycle Theatre in London which also went on to tour Ireland.

Her voice work is varied and she can impressively lend her voice to a wide range of accents and a host of character voices.

Rita is also a qualified and practicing coach with a passion for working with and coaching creative individuals and those who work in the Arts and has written many published articles on the subject.
